EB3_PERA,
Immigration to Canada is the most obvious option in case you want to stay within North America. Being Canadian permanent resident / citizen allows you to run business in the States under certain rules.
Another option is Australia but it is a bit far away and in fact the country is not very much populated - less than 20 mln people. I.e. business is not booming.
Dubai is an excellent option for making money, or at least that was the case 10-15 years ago. Its economy is still booming.

You would need afidavits from your parents and a close relative. IF you dont have a birth certificate with your name, registered on the day you were born and the certificate is dated close to your dob then you WILL need afidavits.
It very simple, just send the format by mail to your parents and ask them to buy stamp papers and get it typed and then sign in front of notory and notory will attest and sign. Then ask them to scan it and send it to you. You just take a print out and give it to your lawyer including your birth certificate you took in 2005.

Regardless of the nature of the outcome from USCIS, I think we should all take 5-10 minutes out of our busy lives and all the "predicting" and dash off a quick note of thanks to Congresswoman Lofgren

I am quite glad that I went to NY consulate to get my passport renewed. I handed it in 11AM on Tuesday and I picked up old and new passports on Wednesday at 4PM.

I look at this image and find no main point of interest, my eye is left to simply rome around the image and is not driven to "the" subject matter.
I had a quick play.... a slight rotate, crop and clone to come up with this...

The diagonal line leads you in from the rear to the main flower, while the same happens from the front. You could play with the DOF of this image also (either in camera of PS) as narrow DOF would help draw attention to main subject flower of your choice, eg:.....

Also, the eye will naturally fall to the brightest part of an image, so all background flowers that may have distracted from subject flower have been cloned out.

After you file your I-485, your status changes to 'Adjustment of status' or 'Adjustee'.
On this status you have 2 options to be able to work:
1) Use EAD, in that case you lose your H1-B status and if your I-485 is denied for any reason, you fall out of status immediately.
Please note that if you use EAD, you HAVE TO use AP for travel.
2) Continue using and extending your H1-B until your I-485 is approved and your status is adjusted to 'Permanent resident'.
You can switch from H1-B to EAD anytime, but there are limitations on whether you can easily switch back from EAD to H1-B.

No, you cannot show that period as experience. Moreover, by doing so you will be saying that you have been working during that period which would be illegal while on H4.

I have seen people get a copy of their approved I-140 using FOIA Freedom of Information Act Request, where the employer was giving them a hard time and not sharing their I-140 info. So there are ways you can get a copy of the approved I-140 provided of course everything is in order. (previous poster has also posted information of getting duplicate I-140)
This is kind of similar - you should contact a good lawyer and try and get that I-140 copy
if you current lawyer is unhelpful just get advice and help from some other immigration lawyer - you are in the home stretch dont give up - try and provide USCIS whatever they want. (though technically they should have information about the approved I-140 - so I dont get why they are requesting a original copy from you!)

Hi Guys,
My previous employer has withheld my salary without any reaon..even though i gave app notice, abided with policies and had no bond or anything.
He is not paying my final paycheck since quite a few months and when i call earlier he used to say he will pay but now started like dont call me i will give when i have time......
If i complain to DOL wether i have to fill WH4 or state DOL wahe and Hour form...and would this processs has any effect on GC processing when i start or any repuircussions...as for proof of non payment of salary i have all timesshetss, refernce letters and His mails also

Last month I called TSC and got a really nice IO. I was checking on my FBI name check status and he told me that he can get more details by A# instead of receipt NO. He in fact found my A# as i only had receipt number handy. He than told me that the FBI checks are cleared and my case is assigned to an IO.
Does case assigned to an IO means that when Visa nos are available i have chance to get GC? Does it mean it is adjudicated and waiting for visa NO?

My case was also transferred to CSC. The transfer notice has a different receipt date than the receipt notice. MY case is now transferred back to NSC.

Note that the airline (AA), on his way out of the US, was not willing to take his I-94 since he was going for less than 30 days. So he had to explain to them about his situation and they took it.
Also note that if you have an Indian passport, you will need a visa to go to Canada.
The other option to extend your I-94 is for your employer to refile I-129, and request for extension of stay. This can be done using premium processing.
